The location was amazing! We loved being surrounded by nature and the peacefulness of the area. Plus, it was conveniently close to some great attractions. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Another advantage was the opportunity to see the geese and fish in the vicinity, which was a delight for the kids.
Our experience was far from pleasant. When we entered our room, it was a total disaster.

The apartment at Blackbrook Lodge Cabin was fantastic! It had 2 cozy bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and oven, and a bathroom with a refreshing shower and bath. I loved the inviting balcony where I could relax and enjoy the surroundings. As a vegetarian, having a kitchen was a major plus for me, allowing me to cook my own delicious plant-based meals during my stay.
My only minor dislike was that the apartment had an electric kettle instead of a stove. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others would still appreciate the convenience of a kettle.

I absolutely loved the beautiful decoration and ambiance of Blackbrook Lodge Cabin. The interior had a charming rustic feel with cozy furnishings and tasteful decor. The common areas were well-maintained and clean, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for senior people like myself. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility was superb, making it easy for me to navigate around the premises and enjoy all the amenities without any difficulty. It was truly a delightful experience.
The only thing I would have asked for is a bit more assistance from the staff. While they were generally helpful, I found that some of the younger employees lacked the attentiveness and professionalism that I would expect from a hotel catering to senior guests.
